Tom Marsico is the founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Investment Officer of Marsico Capital Management, LLC ("Marsico Capital"), which has served as the investment adviser to the Marsico Funds since 1997. Tom sets Marsico Capital's overall research and investment strategy and is a co-manager of the Marsico Focus Fund, the Marsico Growth Fund, and the Marsico Global Fund. He has over 30 years of experience in the investment management field as a securities analyst and a portfolio manager. Tom's extensive background in rigorous securities analysis led him to recruit and train Marsico Capital's multitalented investment team. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado and holds an MBA from the University of Denver.
Doug Rao is a co-manager of the Marsico Focus Fund and the Marsico Growth Fund with Tom Marsico and Coralie Witter and serves as portfolio manager of the Marsico Flexible Capital Fund. Prior to joining Marsico Capital in 2005, Doug spent more than four years at Trust Company of the West (TCW), where he was a Senior Vice President and Financial Services Analyst for U.S. equities. He has more than 10 years of experience as a securities analyst and holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Coralie Witter, CFA, is a co-manager of the Marsico Focus Fund and the Marsico Growth Fund with Tom Marsico and Doug Rao. Coralie joined Marsico Capital in 2004. She was awarded the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst in 1998. Coralie has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, most of which has involved equity research. She spent six years with Goldman, Sachs & Co., where she was a Vice President in Equity Research and the lead analyst covering the restaurant industry. Coralie also covered various Internet companies for several years. She graduated from the University of Colorado and holds a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs.
